The Customer: The Nations 4th Largest Housing Authority
Established in 1937 the Philadelphia Housing Authority is the largest landlord in Pennsylvania. The Authority develops, acquires, leases and operates affordable housing for city residents with limited incomes. The Authority houses about 81,000 people and employs 1,406 with funding that comes primarily from the federal government the Authority works in partnership with the city and state governments as well as private investors.
The need: Armed and Unarmed uniformed security guards who have a customer service approach to man and patrol housing Authority residential properties and office buildings 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The Solution: Top of the Clock works in concert with the Housing Authority police and management to provide guards who understand that they have to be focused on customer service and have the unique ability to interface with people from all walks of life. As a part of the solution Top of the Clock works with the Housing Authority to employ and train the residents to create job opportunities.
