The Customer: Outdoor Special Event Venue
A nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for the benefit of the City of Philadelphia and its citizens. The venue is home to Welcome America festivities, summer concert series, and various events throughout the summer season.
The need: Security Guards who serve as rovers and man fixed posts for high profile and highly visible events. The security guards serve as representatives who aid to patrons, concert goers, and celebrities.
The solution: Top of the Clock developed a checklist and event evaluation tool to assist the organization to better anticipate and reduce the uncertainly involved in special events planning and execution. The checklist served as the framework to identify possible risk exposure scenarios. Through the creation of patrol sectors, posts, and post orders we were able to provide guards who are trained to interact with patrons and celebrities in a non-intimidating manner that conveys security and a family atmosphere.
